The last official days of summer are winding down and I've been taking the time to cook up some bomb transition looks that are perfect for fall. To get ready for the cooler temps, I'm embracing long sleeves and sharing my tips for how to rock your oversized tee as a cute and cozy mini dress.

For those days (or nights) when pants just aren't an option, a roomy shirt dress is always a good look to keep things comfortable and casually chic. TBH, rocking a long sleeved shirt dress is beyond easy.  Don't believe me? Lemme explain some simple steps, sis.

PAIGE'S PRO TIPS – HOW TO ROCK YOUR SHIRT DRESS: 
1) Find your fit. While fashion has made a place for the standard shirt dress, styling a literal shirt into a mini frock is all about choosing a size that makes it work. My general rule of thumb is to double up on your typical measurements. Pick a shirt at least 2 sizes bigger than what you normally wear for optimum roominess. 

2) Add accessories. Since the main garment is all about simplicity, you can customize your long sleeved shirt dress look for whatever mood you're in. Committed to cozy? Add some sneakers and a mini backpack. Wanna spice tings up?🌶 Pair with booties or heels and add a cute clutch. 

3) Show off the stems. Although you can never go too big when it comes to oversized tees, you can most certainly go too long. Keep your shirt's proportions in mind when picking your pieces so you can display what's really meant to be seen front-and-center: them legs.  

4) Make a statement. Just because you're stuntin' in a t-shirt, doesn't mean you have to keep things basic. Opt for cool tees with dope phrases, unique screenprints, and sleeve details to add more edge to your ensemble.
